Isabelle is a graduate of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, where she specialized in radio broadcast and audio storytelling. Born in Brooklyn but raised on St. Thomas since the age of seven, she attended and graduated from Antilles School before moving to Washington, D.C., where she earned her bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University in Justice and Peace Studies. Originally planning to pursue a career in law, Isabelle worked as a paralegal on St. Thomas for several years before deciding to follow her passion for storytelling.
  • Marcellina Ventura-Douglas is the Radio News Reporter for WTJX-FM, 93.1. She was born and raised on the island of St. Croix, where her grandfather founded the historic newspaper, The St. Croix Avis. Marcellina earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of the Virgin Islands, also working in the office of Senator Shawn-Michael Malone while she attended school. After leaving Malone's office, Marcellina went on to serve as program director of Vivid Streaming before working for the Virgin Islands National Guard as a Family Assistance Center Specialist from 2017 to 2018, where she supported service members and their families following Hurricanes Irma and Maria. She then joined WTJX-TV, Channel 12 as a producer, but was soon tapped to switch to WTJX-FM to deliver local evening news through the WTJX NewsFeed, airing every weekday at 5:00 pm on 93.1 FM and available on demand, wherever you get your podcasts.

A native of South Bend, Indiana, he earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Ball State University and moved to St. Croix in 2003 to join The St. Croix Avis, where he worked for 20 years as a reporter and photographer and served as Bureau Chief from 2013 until the paper’s closure at the beginning of 2024.
