On today’s WTJX NewsFeed, the Virgin Islands Department of Education issued a statement regarding an incident involving a school monitor and a student at the Eulalie Rivera PreK-8 School on St. Croix. United Steel Workers District 9 Director, Daniel Flippo, says that VIYA is moving customer service jobs to Guyana. Private water haulers, who provided water to battle fires at the Bovoni Landfill in July and October, apparently still have not been paid for their services. We speak with Elita Bradshaw of Bradshaw Water delivery. Marcellina Ventura-Douglas is the Radio News Reporter for WTJX-FM, 93.1.She was born and raised on the island of St. Croix, where her grandfather founded&nbsp;the&nbsp;historic&nbsp;newspaper, The&nbsp;St. Croix Avis.&nbsp;Marcellina earned her&nbsp;bachelor’s degree in criminal justice&nbsp;from the University of the Virgin Islands,&nbsp;also&nbsp;working in the office of Senator Shawn-Michael Malone while she attended school.&nbsp;After leaving Malone's office,&nbsp;Marcellina&nbsp;went on to serve as program director of Vivid Streaming before working for the Virgin Islands National Guard as a Family Assistance Center Specialist from 2017 to 2018, where she supported service members and their families following Hurricanes Irma and Maria.&nbsp;She then joined WTJX-TV, Channel 12 as a producer, but was soon&nbsp;tapped to switch to WTJX-FM to deliver local evening news through the WTJX NewsFeed, airing every weekday at 5:00 pm on 93.1 FM and available on demand, wherever you get your&nbsp;podcasts.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br/>Email: mvdouglas@wtjx.org<br/>Phone: (340) 474-1682
