On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: The University of the Virgin Islands has announced tuition and fee increases for the 2025–2026 academic year. A St. Croix man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged armed home invasion and assault at the Mutual Homes housing community on Sunday night. Lawmakers rejected Governor Albert Bryan Jr.’s proposal to create a committee to explore a self-funded health and dental insurance plan for government employees and retirees, following a debate over financial risk, oversight, and the exclusion of the Health Insurance board (GESC) from the process. We speak with Government House Communication Director Richard Motta, following the Virgin Islands Daily News publishing a letter revealing that reporter Suzanne Carlson has been banned from covering Government House events. Listen to these stories and more.
