On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: Senate Vice President Kenneth Gittens urges the Government Employees Retirement System to launch a Homeownership Program for government workers, a move he says could address the territory’s housing shortage while strengthening the retirement system. The case against Delroy “Ital” Anthony, the St. Johnian culture bearer who was arrested during Food Fair in June, has been dismissed. But confusion over which government agency was and should be in control of the park that day remains. And a woman on St. Croix has been arrested for driving under the influence, after colliding with a marked police vehicle. Listen to these stories and more.

Isabelle Teare is a new member of the WTJX team. She is a recent graduate of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, where she specialized in radio broadcast and audio storytelling.
