On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: The Virgin Islands Port Authority signed a public-private partnership with Royal Caribbean Group and Cruise Terminals International to redevelop the Crown Bay district on St. Thomas. The Virgin Islands Bureau of Motor Vehicles is waiving late fees for vehicle registration renewals completed online until February 16 as part of an effort to improve convenience and reduce in-office wait times. A St. Thomas man was arrested after police say he attacked another man with a metal pipe, causing serious injuries that sent the victim to the hospital. Listen to these stories and more.

Marcellina Ventura-Douglas is the Radio News Reporter for WTJX-FM, 93.1.&nbsp;She was born and raised on the island of St. Croix, where her grandfather founded&nbsp;the&nbsp;historic&nbsp;newspaper, The&nbsp;St. Croix Avis.&nbsp;Marcellina earned her&nbsp;bachelor’s degree in criminal justice&nbsp;from the University of the Virgin Islands,&nbsp;also&nbsp;working in the office of Senator Shawn-Michael Malone while she attended school.&nbsp;After leaving Malone's office,&nbsp;Marcellina&nbsp;went on to serve as program director of Vivid Streaming before working for the Virgin Islands National Guard as a Family Assistance Center Specialist from 2017 to 2018, where she supported service members and their families following Hurricanes Irma and Maria.&nbsp;She then joined WTJX-TV, Channel 12 as a producer, but was soon&nbsp;tapped to switch to WTJX-FM to deliver local evening news through the WTJX NewsFeed, airing every weekday at 5:00 pm on 93.1 FM and available on demand, wherever you get your&nbsp;podcasts.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br/>Email: mvdouglas@wtjx.org<br/>Phone: (340) 474-1682
