On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: Former OMB Director Jenifer O'Neal self-surrendered to U.S. Marshals today to begin serving her seven-year federal prison sentence after District Judge Mark Kearney denied her request to remain free while appealing her public corruption convictions. Sources tell WTJX that O'Neal is currently in the custody of the Virgin Islands Bureau of Corrections and is booked at the John A. Bell Adult Correctional Facility on St. Croix. After Senator Marvin Blyden called for equal early voting days on St. John, Supervisor of Elections Caroline Fawkes defended the schedule, saying it balances voter access with turnout data and responsible use of public resources. The St. Thomas-St. John district is on a rotational power schedule today as WAPA's unreliability continues. Listen to these stories and more.
