On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed, a child passed away yesterday after being brought to the emergency room. According to the VI Department of Health, while the cause of death is still under investigation, medical reports indicate the child had contracted hand, foot and mouth disease. Former senate president Ronald Russell has been charged with negligent driving, leaving the scene of an accident, and operating an uninsured vehicle. The Virgin Islands Port Authority says the modernization project for both of the territory’s airports should begin this year. And the Virgin Islands Police Department confirmed that 17-year-old MyKayla Benton, who was reported missing on March 4, has been found safe. Listen to these stories and more.
