On today's WTJX Radio NewsFeed: Former WBA Lightweight Boxing Champion of the world, Ras-I Aluja Bramble — born Livingstone Bramble was laid to rest today; his funeral was held at St. Patrick Church on St. Croix. After being kicked off an American Airline flight, a man has been arrested and charged following a series of incidents at the Cyril King Airport. Lawmakers advanced a measure that would require healthcare providers to thoroughly inform patients about the risks associated with opioid prescriptions. After being found in contempt last month by Chief Judge Robert Molloy, Ida Smith has filed a motion to have the order vacated and is requesting a hearing. Listen to these stories and more.

Marcellina Ventura-Douglas is the Radio News Reporter for WTJX-FM, 93.1.&nbsp;She was born and raised on the island of St. Croix, where her grandfather founded&nbsp;the&nbsp;historic&nbsp;newspaper, The&nbsp;St. Croix Avis.&nbsp;Marcellina earned her&nbsp;bachelor’s degree in criminal justice&nbsp;from the University of the Virgin Islands,&nbsp;also&nbsp;working in the office of Senator Shawn-Michael Malone while she attended school.&nbsp;After leaving Malone's office,&nbsp;Marcellina&nbsp;went on to serve as program director of Vivid Streaming before working for the Virgin Islands National Guard as a Family Assistance Center Specialist from 2017 to 2018, where she supported service members and their families following Hurricanes Irma and Maria.&nbsp;She then joined WTJX-TV, Channel 12 as a producer, but was soon&nbsp;tapped to switch to WTJX-FM to deliver local evening news through the WTJX NewsFeed, airing every weekday at 5:00 pm on 93.1 FM and available on demand, wherever you get your&nbsp;podcasts.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br/>Email: mvdouglas@wtjx.org<br/>Phone: (340) 474-1682
