On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: The standoff between the legislature and Governor Albert Bryan, Jr. came to a head, with lawmakers voting to rescind the salary raises that have sparked public outrage. The territory marks its 14th homicide of the year, after 38-year-old Jordan Jones, a popular comedian known by the name Dutty Heart, was shot and killed in broad daylight on the Christiansted boardwalk today. We speak with John Engerman, the executive producer of the ChattaBox VI Comedy Series, about Jones’ impact on the territory’s comedy landscape. Originally planning to pursue a career in law, Isabelle worked as a paralegal on St. Thomas for several years before deciding to follow her passion for storytelling.
