On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: The Superior Court has ruled that Mohammed Salem, accused of fatally stabbing his father in 2024, is not competent to stand trial and has been committed to a secure psychiatric facility in Florida. Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 45-year-old Shandon Anselm, also known as “Bubbles,” on St. Thomas. The British Virgin Islands Postal Service has suspended all package shipments to the United States and its territories due to a new U.S. executive order eliminating the duty-free exemption for low-value imports; letters and documents will still be accepted. A St. Croix man has been arrested and charged with burglary, stalking, drug possession, and other offenses after allegedly breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home while intoxicated.
