On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: Police have taken six students into custody related to a string of bomb threats targeting public schools as Police Commissioner Mario Brooks warns more arrests are likely. VIDE has since imposed a mandatory cell-phone ban at Lockhart K-8 after another threat was called in this morning. A federal judge has denied former Sports, Parks, and Recreation Commissioner Calvert White and businessman Benjamin Hendricks requests for an acquittal or a new trial. A St. Croix man is facing multiple felony charges, including attempted murder, kidnapping, and domestic violence assault, after police say he terrorized his partner with a knife, slashed her tires, and trapped her inside their home before she escaped to call for help.
