On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: With early voting set to begin tomorrow, Supervisor of Elections Caroline Fawkes is correcting misinformation about ballot handling and reassuring voters that election workers are not permitted to make markings on ballots.

A federal judge has rejected a joint request by Brett “Mac” McClafferty and Banco Popular to temporarily suspend court proceedings while the parties pursue settlement discussions in a lawsuit McClafferty filed against the bank following his February arrest on fraud charges.

Questions surrounding Senator Angel Bolques Jr.'s residency on St. John and challenger Hadiya Sewer's opposition to reopening the St. Croix refinery are among the issues explored in tonight's Decision 2026 Senator-at-Large debate airing on WTJX-TV, Channel 12 at 8pm.

Marcellina Ventura-Douglas is the Radio News Reporter for WTJX-FM, 93.1.She was born and raised on the island of St. Croix, where her grandfather founded the historic newspaper, The St. Croix Avis. Marcellina earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of the Virgin Islands, also working in the office of Senator Shawn-Michael Malone while she attended school. After leaving Malone's office, Marcellina went on to serve as program director of Vivid Streaming before working for the Virgin Islands National Guard as a Family Assistance Center Specialist from 2017 to 2018, where she supported service members and their families following Hurricanes Irma and Maria. She then joined WTJX-TV, Channel 12 as a producer, but was soon tapped to switch to WTJX-FM to deliver local evening news through the WTJX NewsFeed, airing every weekday at 5:00 pm on 93.1 FM and available on demand, wherever you get your podcasts.  <br/>Email: mvdouglas@wtjx.org<br/>Phone: (340) 474-1682
