On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: We speak with our contributing reporter Isabelle Teare who recaps the first day of trial proceedings in the corruption case of former VIPD Commissioner Ray Martinez and former OMB Director Jenifer O’Neal. A St. Croix woman has been arrested on domestic violence and assault charges after allegedly spraying her aunt with roach spray, throwing a chair at her, and making threats during a family dispute. A USVI maritime coalition led by Kosei Ohno is urging federal intervention over steep new British Virgin Islands charter fees they say are driving vessels and millions in local revenue out of the territory. Marcellina Ventura-Douglas is the Radio News Reporter for WTJX-FM, 93.1.She was born and raised on the island of St. Croix, where her grandfather founded&nbsp;the&nbsp;historic&nbsp;newspaper, The&nbsp;St. Croix Avis.&nbsp;Marcellina earned her&nbsp;bachelor’s degree in criminal justice&nbsp;from the University of the Virgin Islands,&nbsp;also&nbsp;working in the office of Senator Shawn-Michael Malone while she attended school.&nbsp;After leaving Malone's office,&nbsp;Marcellina&nbsp;went on to serve as program director of Vivid Streaming before working for the Virgin Islands National Guard as a Family Assistance Center Specialist from 2017 to 2018, where she supported service members and their families following Hurricanes Irma and Maria.&nbsp;She then joined WTJX-TV, Channel 12 as a producer, but was soon&nbsp;tapped to switch to WTJX-FM to deliver local evening news through the WTJX NewsFeed, airing every weekday at 5:00 pm on 93.1 FM and available on demand, wherever you get your&nbsp;podcasts.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br/>Email: mvdouglas@wtjx.org<br/>Phone: (340) 474-1682
