On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: We look back at criticisms of the territory’s gun policy made by Governor Albert Bryan Jr. as Government House says it is reviewing a federal lawsuit filed by the U.S. Department of Justice alleging unconstitutional delays and conditions in the territory’s firearm permitting process. A bipartisan bill sponsored by Delegate to Congress Stacey Plaskett that would guarantee in-state tuition rates for students from the Virgin Islands and other U.S. territories has advanced out of committee in the U.S. House of Representatives. Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place near the Elysian Beach Resort on St. Thomas, where a masked suspect allegedly robbed a victim at gunpoint before fleeing on foot.
