On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: Governor Albert Bryan Jr. says outstanding payments related to the government’s tourism marketing agreement with the New York Jets are due to routine cash flow timing and not mismanagement, saying the partnerships are delivering strong returns. Allegations of political interference surfaced during a Senate Committee on Budget, Appropriations and Finance hearing as lawmakers questioned the Department of Property and Procurement about delays in collecting overdue rent. Police on St. Croix are investigating an attempted murder after a shooting near the Lagoon Apartments in Frederiksted left one person hospitalized with a gunshot wound. Marcellina Ventura-Douglas is the Radio News Reporter for WTJX-FM, 93.1.&nbsp;She was born and raised on the island of St. Croix, where her grandfather founded&nbsp;the&nbsp;historic&nbsp;newspaper, The&nbsp;St. Croix Avis.&nbsp;Marcellina earned her&nbsp;bachelor’s degree in criminal justice&nbsp;from the University of the Virgin Islands,&nbsp;also&nbsp;working in the office of Senator Shawn-Michael Malone while she attended school.&nbsp;After leaving Malone's office,&nbsp;Marcellina&nbsp;went on to serve as program director of Vivid Streaming before working for the Virgin Islands National Guard as a Family Assistance Center Specialist from 2017 to 2018, where she supported service members and their families following Hurricanes Irma and Maria.&nbsp;She then joined WTJX-TV, Channel 12 as a producer, but was soon&nbsp;tapped to switch to WTJX-FM to deliver local evening news through the WTJX NewsFeed, airing every weekday at 5:00 pm on 93.1 FM and available on demand, wherever you get your&nbsp;podcasts.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br/>Email: mvdouglas@wtjx.org<br/>Phone: (340) 474-1682
