On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: The Charles "Tappy" Seales Fire Station at Estate Grove Place on St. Croix has been delayed per new federal approval requirements according to Office of Disaster Recovery Director Adrienne Williams-Octalien. ODR released its 2025 Annual Recovery Progress Report, outlining billions in federal recovery funding, completed and ongoing projects across the Territory. Benjamin Hendricks’ attorney, Darren John-Baptiste, filed a notice of appeal with the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, challenging the final judgment in Hendricks’ federal corruption case. Governor Albert Bryan Jr. signed an Executive Order outlining rules and accountability measures for VIPD officers using government-issued equipment while working approved off-duty jobs. Marcellina Ventura-Douglas is the Radio News Reporter for WTJX-FM, 93.1.&nbsp;She was born and raised on the island of St. Croix, where her grandfather founded&nbsp;the&nbsp;historic&nbsp;newspaper, The&nbsp;St. Croix Avis.&nbsp;Marcellina earned her&nbsp;bachelor’s degree in criminal justice&nbsp;from the University of the Virgin Islands,&nbsp;also&nbsp;working in the office of Senator Shawn-Michael Malone while she attended school.&nbsp;After leaving Malone's office,&nbsp;Marcellina&nbsp;went on to serve as program director of Vivid Streaming before working for the Virgin Islands National Guard as a Family Assistance Center Specialist from 2017 to 2018, where she supported service members and their families following Hurricanes Irma and Maria.&nbsp;She then joined WTJX-TV, Channel 12 as a producer, but was soon&nbsp;tapped to switch to WTJX-FM to deliver local evening news through the WTJX NewsFeed, airing every weekday at 5:00 pm on 93.1 FM and available on demand, wherever you get your&nbsp;podcasts.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br/>Email: mvdouglas@wtjx.org<br/>Phone: (340) 474-1682
