On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: VIPD is investigating two separate armed robberies on St. Thomas, one at Coki Point that escalated into a shootout and led to an arrest, and another early-morning holdup near Mandela Circle involving three masked suspects who remain at large. Governor Albert Bryan Jr.’s proposal to amend local gun laws is facing opposition from a local gun owners group, which says the bill burdens law-abiding citizens and does not fully address constitutional concerns raised by the U.S. Justice Department. We speak with Kosei Ohno of Virgin Islands Safe Gun Owners. Attorney General Gordon Rhea has joined a bipartisan coalition of attorneys general urging Congress to protect children from online harm and pass the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA). Team VI captured the overall championship title at the 2026 TFC Indoor Championships in Alabama, bringing home 12 medals in one of the territory’s strongest youth track performances to date.
