On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: 55-year-old Michelle Donastorg has been arrested on charges including vehicular homicide, driving under the influence, and reckless endangerment after police state she drove onto a sidewalk on Veterans Drive killing one pedestrian and seriously injuring another. Governor Albert Bryan Jr. urged Congress to address longstanding federal disparities affecting Virgin Islanders during testimony before the U.S. Senate, highlighting challenges involving healthcare funding, federal benefits, economic development, and the high cost of living in the territory. The Virgin Islands Bureau of Corrections celebrated rehabilitation and second chances during its 2026 Graduation and Recognition Ceremony, honoring incarcerated men and women who completed educational, vocational, and personal development programs while in custody.
