On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed:  Defense attorneys for Carlton Dowe, the former Virgin Islands Port Authority executive director charged with bank fraud, asked a federal judge for additional time to review the voluminous discovery material to determine whether they will pursue a plea deal. Police apprehended 22-year-old Janigh Gonsalves who was wanted in connection to a shooting that occurred on St. Croix yesterday that left two people wounded. And Senator Marvin Blyden is calling on the Elections System of the Virgin Islands to address what he says is an unequal early voting schedule for the island of St. John. Isabelle is a graduate of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, where&nbsp;she&nbsp;specialized&nbsp;in radio broadcast and audio storytelling.&nbsp;Born in Brooklyn but raised on St. Thomas since the age of seven, she attended and graduated from Antilles School before moving to Washington, D.C., where she earned her bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University in Justice and Peace Studies. Originally planning to pursue a career in law, Isabelle worked as a paralegal on St. Thomas for several years before deciding to follow her passion for storytelling.
