On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: VIPA has put a proposed $31.5 million airport fire station contract with J. Benton Construction on hold while legal counsel examines whether the company's involvement in the airport redevelopment P3 creates a conflict of interest.

The V.I. Justice Department has filed a motion seeking to dismiss charges against four defendants in an alleged half-million-dollar government fraud scheme, following discovery disputes and what prosecutors now describe as witness issues.

The Department of Property and Procurement is warning vendors and government agencies about fraudulent emails impersonating procurement employees, including messages using an unauthorized @vi-gov.us domain.
