On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: Ahead of Wednesday’s legislative session, senators heard testimony during a Committee of the Whole meeting on a proposal that would grant Southland Gaming exclusive gaming rights in exchange for developing the Randall 'Doc' James Racetrack on St. Croix.

Former Police Commissioner Ray Martinez has been moved from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico to FCI Tallahassee, a low-security federal prison in Florida, to serve his 10-year sentence while his corruption convictions remain on appeal.

Attorney General Gordon Rhea released his office's opinion in response to Governor Albert Bryan's request for a legal opinion addressing questions of election law, candidate disqualification, and the Election System of the Virgin Islands.
