On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed, the VIPD has a suspect in custody following a robbery at Kmart in Lockhart Gardens on St. Thomas. Delegate to Congress Stacey Plaskett says certain federal funding remains frozen, despite the White House rescinding the directive which initiated the freeze. Governor Albert Bryan, Jr. says the territory’s gun policy has “totally failed,” suggesting that legal gun ownership should be made more accessible through regulated gun ranges and streamlined licensing procedures. And the St. Croix Historic Preservation Committee approves the $20 million FEMA funded project to convert the overhead utility lines along Queen Street in Christiansted to an underground system. Listen to these stories and more.

Isabelle Teare is a new member of the WTJX team. She is a recent graduate of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, where she specialized in radio broadcast and audio storytelling.
