On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed:  Our contributing reporter Isabelle Teare recaps the morning’s proceedings of day three in the federal corruption trial of former Police Commissioner Ray Martinez and former OMB Director Jenifer O’Neal. Lawmakers advanced a resolution honoring U.S. Senator Mike Crapo for his vigilance in securing the permanent rum cover-over rate increase. The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority is alerting residents to planned power outages on St. Croix and St. Thomas this Saturday, along with weekday traffic disruptions on Queen Mary Highway as crews conduct electrical maintenance and roadway paving. Marcellina Ventura-Douglas is the Radio News Reporter for WTJX-FM, 93.1.She was born and raised on the island of St. Croix, where her grandfather founded&nbsp;the&nbsp;historic&nbsp;newspaper, The&nbsp;St. Croix Avis.&nbsp;Marcellina earned her&nbsp;bachelor’s degree in criminal justice&nbsp;from the University of the Virgin Islands,&nbsp;also&nbsp;working in the office of Senator Shawn-Michael Malone while she attended school.&nbsp;After leaving Malone's office,&nbsp;Marcellina&nbsp;went on to serve as program director of Vivid Streaming before working for the Virgin Islands National Guard as a Family Assistance Center Specialist from 2017 to 2018, where she supported service members and their families following Hurricanes Irma and Maria.&nbsp;She then joined WTJX-TV, Channel 12 as a producer, but was soon&nbsp;tapped to switch to WTJX-FM to deliver local evening news through the WTJX NewsFeed, airing every weekday at 5:00 pm on 93.1 FM and available on demand, wherever you get your&nbsp;podcasts.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br/>Email: mvdouglas@wtjx.org<br/>Phone: (340) 474-1682
