On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: Following the fatal shark attack on St. Croix, we speak with Dr. Nicole Angeli, DPNR’s director of Fish & Wildlife, about shark activity in the territory’s waters. Delegate to Congress, Stacey Plaskett, tells lawmakers in Washington D.C. that the territory’s healthcare system is in crisis during a debate on whether to extend enhanced Affordable Care Act premium tax credits, saying the Virgin Islands is an illustration of what happens when Affordable Care Act benefits are taken away. And Michelle Smith sets a new Virgin Islands record for the indoor 800 meters, breaking a record that was previously held by her sister. Listen to these stories and more.
