On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: Our contributing reporter Isabelle Teare was at the Legislature today and recaps part of Committee of the Whole hearing, where lawmakers questioned WAPA officials over outages that impacted the St. Thomas–St. John district for more than two weeks. A deposition for Morris Anselmi is been scheduled for later this month in the federal fraud case against Davidson and Sasha Charlemagne, following Anselmi and Kimberly McCollum’s separate PPP fraud case moving toward pretrial diversion. Two men, including a VIPD community resource officer, were arrested and charged in connection with the armed robbery of a teenager on St. Croix. Listen to these stories and more.

Marcellina Ventura-Douglas is the Radio News Reporter for WTJX-FM, 93.1.She was born and raised on the island of St. Croix, where her grandfather founded&nbsp;the&nbsp;historic&nbsp;newspaper, The&nbsp;St. Croix Avis.&nbsp;Marcellina earned her&nbsp;bachelor’s degree in criminal justice&nbsp;from the University of the Virgin Islands,&nbsp;also&nbsp;working in the office of Senator Shawn-Michael Malone while she attended school.&nbsp;After leaving Malone's office,&nbsp;Marcellina&nbsp;went on to serve as program director of Vivid Streaming before working for the Virgin Islands National Guard as a Family Assistance Center Specialist from 2017 to 2018, where she supported service members and their families following Hurricanes Irma and Maria.&nbsp;She then joined WTJX-TV, Channel 12 as a producer, but was soon&nbsp;tapped to switch to WTJX-FM to deliver local evening news through the WTJX NewsFeed, airing every weekday at 5:00 pm on 93.1 FM and available on demand, wherever you get your&nbsp;podcasts.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br/>Email: mvdouglas@wtjx.org<br/>Phone: (340) 474-1682
