On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: A St. Thomas man has been arrested on multiple felony charges after allegedly driving drunk and crashing into the historic Jarvis Building, injuring his passenger and registering a blood alcohol level nearly three and a half times the legal limit. After being extradited back to St. Croix, 50-year-old Kenneth Springer has been convicted on three counts of obtaining money by false pretense dating back to 2007, receiving a five-year probation sentence. Motorists on St. Croix should expect traffic disruptions from September 15 through October 20 as crews install underground electrical lines along Centerline Road in Hannah’s Rest. The East End Marine Park will host a free tree giveaway on Saturday, September 13 at the Rudolph E. Schulterbrandt Agricultural Complex, offering residents native and salt-tolerant varieties to promote biodiversity and fight erosion. Listen to these stories and more.

Soon after, she was tapped to switch to WTJX-FM to present an evening news.
