On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: An MOU between the Virgin Islands and the Ghana Tourism Authority aims to strengthen tourism, cultural exchange, and investment ties by leveraging shared heritage and expanding cooperation over the next five years. The eviction and redevelopment lawsuit involving Island Laundries has been delayed once again after a third Superior Court judge recused herself from the case. Police on St. Croix have arrested a suspect in connection with a recent shooting incident in the Frederiksted Town area. Eleven people, including several employees of the Virgin Islands Department of Human Services, were arrested following a 20-month investigation into alleged Medicaid fraud. Marcellina Ventura-Douglas is the Radio News Reporter for WTJX-FM, 93.1.&nbsp;She was born and raised on the island of St. Croix, where her grandfather founded&nbsp;the&nbsp;historic&nbsp;newspaper, The&nbsp;St. Croix Avis.&nbsp;Marcellina earned her&nbsp;bachelor’s degree in criminal justice&nbsp;from the University of the Virgin Islands,&nbsp;also&nbsp;working in the office of Senator Shawn-Michael Malone while she attended school.&nbsp;After leaving Malone's office,&nbsp;Marcellina&nbsp;went on to serve as program director of Vivid Streaming before working for the Virgin Islands National Guard as a Family Assistance Center Specialist from 2017 to 2018, where she supported service members and their families following Hurricanes Irma and Maria.&nbsp;She then joined WTJX-TV, Channel 12 as a producer, but was soon&nbsp;tapped to switch to WTJX-FM to deliver local evening news through the WTJX NewsFeed, airing every weekday at 5:00 pm on 93.1 FM and available on demand, wherever you get your&nbsp;podcasts.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br/>Email: mvdouglas@wtjx.org<br/>Phone: (340) 474-1682
