On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed: The V.I. Government Hospital and Health Facilities Corporation Territorial Board has formally established a single territorial hospital system, naming Juan F. Luis Hospital CEO Darlene Baptiste as chief executive officer of the consolidated system. Police and corrections officials on St. Thomas have filed additional charges against a 47-year-old man already facing sexual assault allegations, accusing him of carrying out a violent prison attack with a homemade knife that seriously injured another inmate. AARP Virgin Islands is warning local seniors about a national class action lawsuit alleging illegal reverse-mortgage fees, urging homeowners to review statements closely and seek help if they face unexplained or escalating fees. WAPA has scheduled an electrical service interruption for Saturday morning on St. Thomas, affecting more than 1,600 customers, as crews complete system reconfiguration work to improve reliability. Marcellina Ventura-Douglas is the Radio News Reporter for WTJX-FM, 93.1.&nbsp;She was born and raised on the island of St. Croix, where her grandfather founded&nbsp;the&nbsp;historic&nbsp;newspaper, The&nbsp;St. Croix Avis.&nbsp;Marcellina earned her&nbsp;bachelor’s degree in criminal justice&nbsp;from the University of the Virgin Islands,&nbsp;also&nbsp;working in the office of Senator Shawn-Michael Malone while she attended school.&nbsp;After leaving Malone's office,&nbsp;Marcellina&nbsp;went on to serve as program director of Vivid Streaming before working for the Virgin Islands National Guard as a Family Assistance Center Specialist from 2017 to 2018, where she supported service members and their families following Hurricanes Irma and Maria.&nbsp;She then joined WTJX-TV, Channel 12 as a producer, but was soon&nbsp;tapped to switch to WTJX-FM to deliver local evening news through the WTJX NewsFeed, airing every weekday at 5:00 pm on 93.1 FM and available on demand, wherever you get your&nbsp;podcasts.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br/>Email: mvdouglas@wtjx.org<br/>Phone: (340) 474-1682
